prusaprinters

This is designed to fit a .5" ID hose, it can be scaled to fit larger sizes if needed.

This system has multiple uses. If you have a hose that has been cut or hose that has no fitting on the ends and you want to connect multiple lines use the In-Line Joiner with the hose barbs on either side.

Use the Y Joiner and the Hose Barbs to connect multiple lines going in various directions

And finally use the In-Line Flood System with the Hose Barbs and have low pressure water at any point in your garden.

How To Use:

Cut you hose to the desired length. Slide the Hose Barb Nut onto the hose first then slide the hose onto the Hose Barb. make sure the hose doesn't get caught on the outer collet. Once the hose is seated all the way down on the barb you can screw the nut onto the hose bard. make sure to tighten it up and that will cause the collet to grip down onto the hose and prevent water pressure from pushing the hose off. Screw your desired joiner or the flood system onto the Hose Barb. Add a Hose Bard to the other piece of hose and screw that onto the joiner/flood system and then turn your water on.

Printing:

I suggest to print everything standing up. You will get better threads this way.

You will have to use supports around the threads to support the hex portion of the joiners. Don't let your supports fully surround your threads though. make sure there is at least 1 to 2 gaps for easier support removal.
