<h3>IN-14 Nixie Clock</h3><p> </p><p><strong>Description</strong></p><p>This nixie clock uses six IN-14 vertical Russian tubes, driven by the Zirrfa pcb kit.</p><p>To access the buttons a sharp object is needed. This is a design choice to keep the clock profile simple and to prevent unintended button pushes.</p><p>In the photos the logo on the front of the body is a laser cutted 3mm gold acrylic sheet with two very small holes. I drilled two same size holes on the printed body and used resistor leads as rivets.</p><p>I’ve included an .ai file for the laser cutted part as an example, but probably you want to redesign that to match your lab logo.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Parts List</strong></p><p>- Printed parts</p><p>1x PCB kit (<a href="https://it.aliexpress.com/item/33026216982.html">https://it.aliexpress.com/item/33026216982.html</a>)</p><p>6x IN-14 Nixie tubes</p><p>4x M3x15mm cylindrical head screw</p><p>4x M3 nuts</p><p> </p><p><strong>Print Settings</strong></p><p>I used Prusa Slicer and an original Prusa MK3S with the powder coated bed for the 3d printed parts.</p><p>All the stls are in the right orientation.</p><p>Prints the following parts:</p><p>1x IN14_top: Prusament PETG, Preset 0.2mm SPEED, no supports, 3 wall</p><p>1x IN14_bottom: Prusament PETG, Preset 0.2mm SPEED, no support</p><p> </p><p><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>Solder the Tubes and the colon separators on the pcb (pay attention on the orientation of the tubes)</p><p>Insert very carefully the assembled pcb on the top printed part and then add the bottom printed part.</p><p>Secure now the whole assembly with the 4 screws from the top that’s connects from the 4 nuts inserted on the bottom part</p><p>Happy printing and enjoy your new clock.</p><p> </p><p><strong>licensing and contacts</strong></p><p>Thank you for reading and your interest, if you want more details feel free to contact me on Instagram <a href="https://www.instagram.com/delucalabs/">@delucalabs</a>.</p><p>This design is licensed under a :<a href="https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/">Creative Commons (4.0 International License) Attribution-NonCommercial</a>.</p>
