ImpulseRC Alien 4.5 GoPro Screw Mount

This is a custom GoPro screw mount tailored specifically for the ImpulseRC Alien 4.5 miniquad's unique top plate dimensions. I bought the Alien 4.5 because people raved about it, but its non-standard size made finding compatible mounts a real challenge, especially when it came to specific cameras. To solve this problem, I aimed to design a generic screw mount that would fit seamlessly with the Alien and create separate GoPro cases for the camera itself. Taking matters into my own hands, I decided to invest in a 3D printer and design parts that catered specifically to my quad's needs. Before installing the mount, keep in mind that you'll need to trim approximately 5mm from the end of the stock screw. This ensures the screw will reach its destination without being too short. Once securely attached, you can tighten this mount down really firmly
