Improvised Eye+Face Protection

As a last resort, medical professionals and others who come into contact with infected individuals often rely on makeshift face shields due to limited access to safety equipment. This design serves as an easy-to-print holder for a plastic sheet, which helps prevent droplets from flying into eyes when other protective gear is not available. The plastic sheet can be sourced from any readily available material, such as the document envelope shown in my image; thicker sheets may provide even better protection. To secure the sheet to the head part of the face shield, glue or tape are used on the front side. It's essential to note that this design has not been thoroughly tested and I make no claims regarding its safety features. This makeshift face shield was created with the intention of providing a solution when other equipment is unavailable, but it should only be used by individuals who are aware of their own risk level and can make informed decisions about their personal safety.
