In the initial design, I found press-fit X rods to be unsatisfactory as they were secured with either drilled/tapped holes or unclear attachment method. To enhance stability, I added M3 trapped nuts for better securing. Moreover, additional spaces for plastic reduction were incorporated. Version 2 (V2) includes M3 trapped nuts instead of drill dimples for nut cap to overcome the lamination cracking issue caused by wood screws.
