I'm very pleased with my new and improved wind guide turbine, which I've been tweaking for thirteen versions to get just right. The latest version is significantly lighter, easier to print, and fits perfectly on most 12V turbines like the one found at http://ebay.to/1SCr1Hk. Improvements With each iteration, my design has become more refined, and I'm confident that this final version will meet the needs of many users. The new part is designed to provide a seamless fit for most wind guide turbines. Detailed view Compared to the original wind guide turbine that came with my Prusa i3 kit, this improved model is over 10% lighter, making it easier to handle and more efficient to print. Old part that came with the Prusa i3 kit The added features of a lip to prevent air leaks and a middle rib for increased rigidity make this new wind guide turbine even more reliable and easier to print. Performance According to the datasheet, the traditional turbine fan has impressive properties: it can last up to 40000 hours at 40 Celsius degree, spins at 3000 RPM, and produces an airflow of 30 CFM. Considering the fan's output, we can estimate the maximum expected airflow speed to be around 60-70 m/s, which provides valuable insights into the internal behavior of this wind guide turbine.
