<p>The parameterized mouthpiece by CKirby - now improved.</p> <p>Note that this errors in customizer without a clear message. It does not in openSCAD. Still trying to find out why.</p> <p>What I changed:</p> <ul> <li>four outer design shapes: straight, straight with rim for text edge, rounded and concave</li> <li>A resolution can be chosen for the sampling from the bezier curves forming the cup, rim and outer shape</li> <li>much higher default resolution. Takes 10 minutes to render on my i7 macbook</li> <li>default settings correspond to a wide shallow commercial sounding bass trombone piece, a bit like the Marcinkiewicz ETB-3 mouthpiece but a bit more shallow.</li> <li><p>when printing one-piece, adds a raft along the top of the shank. That way, a slicer can add support below that, so your mouthpiece will not fall over during printing. The original Bach-like oversized rounded outer design shape is no longer included, but is easy to add if you want.</p> <p>See photso for a test print at 0.15mm layer thickness.
