The original model worked flawlessly for an extended period but its weakest link, the part linking to the printer frame, started to deteriorate, ultimately causing the spool holder to dislodge, taking the spool with it. This revised design takes a significant leap forward by incorporating a retaining clip on the underside of the printer frame, thereby ensuring a secure fit that won't come loose once installed.
