Improved Snoopy Sno Cone Machine Locking Cap

Improved Snoopy Sno Cone Machine Locking Cap

myminifactory

The handle locking cap on the Snoopy Sno Cone machine has a design flaw that causes it to lock clockwise in the same direction as the handle rotation. When a piece of ice jams against the lock, the pressure twists the cap in the opposite direction, causing it to pop off repeatedly during each sno cone making session. I wanted a locking cap that attaches in the opposite direction for added reliability. There's another Snoopy Sno Cone locking cap design that I wasn't aware of when I created this one. It doesn't seem to be prone to the same issue as the original, using a different mechanism altogether. My design is a faithful replica of the original, but with the locking direction reversed for improved performance. Instructions: Print the model with the handle facing upwards. Only the outer overhang needs to be supported by your slicer's support placement if you can control it precisely.
