Improved Snoopy Sno Cone Machine Locking Cap
thingiverse
The Snoopy Sno Cone machine's handle locking cap has a design issue: it locks clockwise, similar to the handle rotation direction. If ice clogs against the lock, pressure forces the cap to unlock inadvertently. This results in frequent pop-offs during each sno cone production session. I preferred a cap with opposite attaching mechanism. Another Snoopy Sno Cone locking cap design exists, which I was unaware of when designing this. It uses a distinct mechanism and seems less prone to the same flaw as the original. My design is an accurate replication of the initial one; however, it reverses the locking direction. When 3D printing, place the model with the handle upwards. Only the outer overhang requires support, depending on your slicer's support placement control.
