Improved Quadcopter Motormounts A and B
thingiverse
To avoid indoor Quadcopter mishaps like my friend experienced, we resorted to printing spare motor mounts from Thingiverse. However, we noticed the bolt holes didn't match perfectly with the originals, so we designed our own parts. The files provided include A and B components along with the original .SLDPRT files for Solidworks or high-end 3D printers users. When printing, be cautious as we added screw and motor recesses on both sides. For MakerBot-like printers without support material, print with the motor recess facing down - it's easier to adjust using a drill bit. Additionally, note that our screw hole diameters may vary slightly depending on your printer's resolution, with higher resolution machines potentially having 0.5mm oversized holes.
