Improved design of Jig Saw Handle With Blades Magazine. Improvements: - The cap has been replaced by a screw cap. Access to the blade magazine is clean and free from obstruction, making it easy to remove blades without them getting stuck like in other third-party designs. - Bosch T-Shank blades fit perfectly, as updated in the previous design. - Guard for thumb and forefinger provides an even safer grip. The quick-release system remains unchanged, as once closed, it is impossible for it to be accidentally loosened. After multiple uses, it has been shown to provide a perfect grip on the blade without presenting friction points that would eventually cause the clamp or jaw to erode, unlike in other third-party designs. The magazine clearance (12mm) for the blades has not changed. Depending on the thickness, it admits between 8 and 11 blades, allowing you to carry a more than sufficient assortment for metal, wood, plastics, and ceramic materials. Increasing the space would sacrifice the robustness of the tool, which is not desirable. A handle design has been added to print in one piece, although with a small variation at the end where the cap goes so that the face is completely flat. (I prefer the split design as it is easier to remove the support, and once both parts are welded with acetone it presents the same or greater strength than the one-piece design). In addition, there is a design of the cap with an eyebolt to put in a holding rabbet. For an unbeatable grip on the blade I strongly recommend using the sandpaper grain technique described in my previous design. I recommend printing it on ABS, as it has better mechanical characteristics than PLA. This is not a prototype. It is designed for use in real working conditions, ideal for its low weight, robustness, and versatility to add to the car toolbox, survival or EDC equipment.
