Human: I built Corben33's Jelly Bean Dispenser but wanted to make a few improvements. Changes: · Made a catching tray so the candy doesn't shoot across my desk. · Tweaked the shelves, extending them to give more movement. · Cut the bottom leading edge of the shelves to give a bit more space. · Added guiding shelves to guide the candy into the shaft hole. · Elongated the shaft and removed the cap, adding a knob on each side for left- or right-handed users. · Enlarged the hole in the shaft. · Changed the knob from removable to glued on. · Elongated the tops front and back slightly to make it hang over more (done after printing). · Changed the stopper, creating a solid one that can be printed separately or attached with a bottom piece matching the top color; I also split it into a top and bottom piece and added Cerberus333's puppy to the top of the plug. · Made longer back and front sections to hold more candy. You can print the front out of clear PETG for a cool effect, but avoid infill and tell the printer to use massive perimeters instead. Unfortunately, I broke it when trying to remove it from my bed, and it stuck due to using PEI material. I was excited to post about it but now I won't be able. The design belongs to Corben33, who did an excellent job; I just saw areas where I could improve the model. This is for my father-in-law, a veterinarian, and I added the puppy stopper as a personal touch for Christmas.
