Improved filament run out sensor - CR10s Pro V2
thingiverse
Standard filament run out sensor for CR10S Pro V2 was not working properly. When I had ordered a new sensor, this did not work reliably either. I started thinking of a solution that would provide a more reliable detection. The problem with standard setup is that the ratio means that the stroke 1.75 mm from the filament gives a stroke of about 0.5 mm on the sensor button itself. By designing a sensor arm with good gear ratio, I can get a movement of about 5 mm. In addition, I added the ability to adjust the sensor position https://youtu.be/-HjUekAqU64
