Improved doppler Windsurfing GPS with less ghosting

<p>This is a modification to my original print that can be found here</p><p><a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/104363-windsurfing-speedo-doppler-gps-low-profile-counter">https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/104363-windsurfing-speedo-doppler-gps-low-profile-counter</a></p><p>This print adds a trim layer that makes the unit more professional looking but also significantly reduces ghosting effects in direct sunlight. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>The last two photos show how dramatic the improvement in ghosting is. &nbsp;First photo is taken with me holding trim in place in direct sunlight, the second photo is about 1 second later after I drop the trim off.</p><p>If required you can easily emboss the trim panel to personalise your unit. &nbsp; &nbsp;The main body print just has modification recess to allow for the trim to be full face. &nbsp; The trim includes some corrugations which are to allow for air bubbles to escape when filling with epoxy. &nbsp;Print in same colour as case or different for contrast. &nbsp; As per original file you print the case either face down or battery down. &nbsp; On a MK3S you need minimal supports, mainly on the leash, lash points and overhang edges. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p>If you are just using an off the shelf box to house the gps, you can get the same improvement just by cutting out some foam rubber to achieve the same result. &nbsp; &nbsp; Disclaimer: &nbsp;at the time of posting this I have printed these files, assembled unit to test fit and appears ok. &nbsp;However, I have not fully sealed and epoxy'd unit so there is a small chance of issues (as another sailor is borrowing my glue).</p>
