Improved Delta Vibration Damper

Improved Delta Vibration Damper

thingiverse

I designed an improved vibration damper for deltas with stainless steel rods, such as those found in the Sintron Kossel kit. Instead of epoxying the rod ends in place, this design allows for greater flexibility and easier modifications later on. My previous spring-based design performed well initially but ultimately failed when printed with PLA material due to excessive stress on the plastic itself. This new design transfers tension directly onto a rubber band, minimizing the risk of parts breaking off over time.
