Improved Brio-Duplo Rail Support
thingiverse
Since different brands of brio parts have slightly different measurements, and since ohter similar parts found in Thingiverse presents too tight dimensions making a fit-together difficult, I re-created this part. I recommend to print this one instead of others. The model presented here was tested. Improvements: 1) Rails goes slightly wider coming to the ends, to accept more tolerance with next parts 2) The joints have slightly different sizes to give a little bit of tolerance in joints 3) The platform is ramped a little bit in one side, to accept a ramp, avoiding the formation of a step 4) The lane between the rails is ramped a little bit, to avoid the formation of a step when a ramp is joined 5) The convex joint is also ramped, to avoid a step. In general, steps would contribute to get the train stucked.
