Improved Ball and Socket Joint

Improved Ball and Socket Joint

I created this specifically for use with 3D printing because every model I've tried would break when subjected to a ball being inserted. This design places the force where 3D printed objects are strongest: horizontally. Currently, there's a 20mm ball, threaded socket, and plain socket in this set. It's designed for use with either 3mm or 4mm cap screws and #6 wood screws. The plain socket is ideal for lighter items like Raspberry Pi camera modules. It can swivel past 180 degrees if pivoted between the lobes, but only about 90 degrees when moving against them. The threaded designs can withstand significantly more weight.
