improved 3Drag z-axis endstop screw holder
thingiverse
The standard 3Drag z-axis endstop is notoriously inaccurate. Simply by nudging the screw ever so slightly to one side, its angle changes and the z zero position becomes compromised - a situation that's literally a recipe for disaster.\nThis ingenious improved endstop screw holder allows you to position two nuts in perfect alignment, securing the screw firmly vertical. Alternatively, you can use one standard nut in combination with a nylon locknut. The locknut provides added stability by keeping everything precisely in place. Installing a second locknut at the very end of the screw increases the surface area contacting the switch - effectively rendering misses an impossibility.\nI've personally seen a significant reduction in printer maintenance and calibration time thanks to this modification, and I'm eager to share it with you!
