Impossible Bolt: Metric Version
thingiverse
This is the metric version of my "impossible bolt": http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:674972 The impossible bolt showcases a technique called "co-processing," where you can modify a 3D printed part as it's being created. It's also an entertaining 3D printed object to stump your friends with! This only has the file for the bolt and employs an M12-1.75 nut. Explore my blog at: https://printeraction.wordpress.com/ And view my vlog about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGW6zMLpge8&feature=youtu.be Instructions At midpoint in the print, pause the print and secure an M12-1.75 nut onto the bolt. The MakerBot Replicator 2s lower their build plates when you select "change filament." If using a different printer, it would be beneficial to print two bolts, securing the nut onto one while paused over the other.
With this file you will be able to print Impossible Bolt: Metric Version with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Impossible Bolt: Metric Version.
