Accurately mapping the soft tissue contours surrounding an implant in the aesthetic area is essential for a restoration's success. The presented technique highlights the importance of "directing" the soft tissue by modifying a provisional restoration to achieve a natural emergence profile that seamlessly blends with the adjacent teeth' gingival contour. This method yields a precise impression of the soft tissue through intraoral use of autopolymerized acrylic resin supported by the impression coping and vinyl polylsiloxane impression material. The final restoration incorporates an aesthetic zirconia custom abutment and an implant-supported single crown to meet both the patient's and provider's esthetic and functional expectations. Medical personnel can easily create complex medical forms using standard, non-specific hardware such as iPhone or Android phones, iPad.
