Implant Injector
thingiverse
These proof-of-concept injectors are designed for RFID/NFC glass tags, magnets, or small implantable objects and devices. 2mm and 3mm variants are offered. This design has been successfully used once by myself to implant an NTAG216 in my left forearm. While off-the-shelf injectors are readily available, custom injectors will open up the possibility of easily implanting non-standard-sized devices. After printing, add a 3" (75mm) piercing needle to complete the injector. The 2mm injectors fit a 10g needle while the 3mm injectors are designed for a 6g needle. Depending on the material printed with, the needle can be a very tight fit. Secure the needle with super glue if it seems too loose. The "T" shaped piece acts as the injector's plunger. Disinfect the finished injector before use and study online guides to implanting RFIDs before attempting it yourself.
