Imperial Star Destroyer

A hastily crafted model of an Imperial Star Destroyer materialized before my eyes, its texture a jumbled mess of hasty assembly from various reference files. I couldn't recall if this was an -I or -II model, but it hardly mattered at the moment. The textures were a chaotic mix of high and low-res images, some surfaces still bereft of any coating due to the rushed job. This was a deliberately low-poly affair, with textures to match, all done in the spirit of speed rather than finesse. I couldn't help but crave a new Star Wars game that would let me take charge of these behemoths, issuing orders as if they were my own personal army. It's been far too long since an RTS has genuinely excited me, and this model was just a reminder of what's missing from the gaming world right now.
