Imperial Industrial walk ways
thingiverse
Just need a few extra walkways for your Imperial facility? Print out some of these from Imperial Manufacturing Division XXI. Get from A to B without needing to navigate those pesky ladders today! These walkways come in two variations that may be compatible with existing terrain systems (*yet to be tested - thanks nstephenh). *Update 10/08/18* Added some connector pieces that can be used to join the parts together. It gets a little complicated as the holes on my curved pieces only line up on the short edges (both left and right), so I had to make three different connector pieces. The 4-1 piece is compatible with official terrain and has the same dimensions as the official walkway. You can use it to connect: * Any two official walkways together * An official walkway to the long top edge or shorter side edges of a curved piece * Curved pieces' long or side edges to another curved piece's curved or side edges The 4-2 piece is for joining short edges of printed curved walkways together. The 4-3 piece is for joining the printed curved walkway's short edge to any official part, or to a long or side edge of another curved walkway. Progress update (25/07/18): Curved walkway part B has been updated to fix the bottom layer to be flat. The holes are reported as being too tight for official connector parts, but my test print came out okay in this regard (round and hex are 4mm, and pegs are about 3.5mm). A new curved variation A has been added that should fit better and is more detailed. Please print it out and let me know how it turns out. Straight walkway A needs to be rescaled and retested as it's too loose into part B. Straight walkway B also needs reviewing. Compatible support columns will be posted soon. Assembly: Print out parts A & B of your chosen walkway. Paint each part before gluing. They should just snap together and may not really need glue at all (to be tested).
