Full size blaster constructed from the Star Wars POTF (Power of the Force) Death Star Gunner figure, also known as the Imperial Gunner. This project remains in progress. The majority of external components are now complete. One version is approximately 95% finished. The image displayed shows an early assembly of main parts to illustrate size and scope. Consequently, the following should be taken into account. 1. Top dome intended for use of an on/off Pot to facilitate on/off and volume control. Refer to parts list for switch specifications. 2. Bottom dome planned for use of a rotary switch to select modes. 3. Left cocking handle designed as an up/down clicker utilizing micro switches. 4. Intended application of a reed switch as trigger since the model lacks a visible trigger mechanism. Magnet inside gloves used to activate the reed switch. Remaining tasks: 1. Potential remodeling of the handle to accommodate some squares as buttons, with obvious use being a trigger. 2. Completion of parts for clicker switch internals. 3. Electronics integration. About this project. This project originated from my desire to learn Fusion 360. Having a project gave me focus and a clear direction towards bringing it to life at the end. This is a fan-made design based on the model from the toy figure.
