Updated 19th Feb. Dome parts 3 and 4 were found not flat on the build plate, which led us to the bevel under the dome 3 and 4 where the visor was meant to go. I apologize for any printing issues that occurred due to this misalignment. To rectify this issue, I've updated Parts 3 and 4 so they sit perfectly dead flat now, but they do require some supports due to overhangs. Please contact us if you experience any difficulties with the parts or need alternative cuts. This model has been specifically designed for 3D printing. You can add an Imperial Gunner Helmet to your collection today! The design comprises of 29 parts (plus optionals), and it's scaled close to the 501st scale as possible, with a tolerance of just 1.5cm. Please note that the crisp images you see in the instructions are real representations of the actual models, not rendered effects. All pieces are void of visible polygons, ensuring a silky smooth print, and have been modelled at high resolutions. All parts are carefully cut and repaired using professional grade repairing tools, then placed perfectly flat on the build surface at coordinates (0, 0, 0). We've done everything to make printing easy for you – just load the file, select your settings, and press print. Comprehensive instructions have been included for all parts (the assembly guide is also uploaded), allowing for seamless assembly of the suit. The design fits comfortably on a 20x20cmx15cm build plate, commonly found in printers like Wanhao/CTC/Flashforge, but smaller plates at 15x15x15cm will work as well, just with different orientation. All parts can be cut to size and we're more than happy to provide assistance if you need it – simply let us know your specific requirements, from cutting down parts to helping with finishing. As many edits are possible. Recommended Print Settings: LAYER HEIGHT: We suggest a layer height of 0.2-0.3mm as these parts will be sanded and painted afterwards. INFILL: For reduced weight and easier handling, we recommend an infill rate between 3% to 10%. Supports / Rafts: Feel free to adjust the supports according to your printer's capabilities. Today's printers with great cooling systems can manage complex overhangs with ease – all it takes is knowing your machine inside out.
