Mainz style blade, a 2nd century gladius fully functional, comprising three parts: blade, pommel and handle. Engravings include: IMPERATOR•CAESAR•MARCVS•AVRELIVS•ANTONINVS•AVGVSTVS•ARMENIACVS•MEDICVS•PARTHICVS•MAXIMVS•GERMANICVS•SARMATICVS VLTIMA RATIO is inscribed. This model was created using rhino software only, with the ultimate goal of printing the blade in titanium, making it the lightest gladius ever produced. However, current printers are not large enough to accomplish this feat. Future prints will be made.
