Imperial Assault - Organiser for Base Game and Expansions
thingiverse
This insert is designed for the main components and cards of FFG's Star Wars - Imperial Assault, making game setup easier by simply taking the various pots out of the box. It accommodates all current expansions up to Tyrant's of Lothal and fits within the larger base game box (287 x 287 x 132). There is still some space left at the top of the box (about 19mm) that can be used for storing rulebooks. The card holders support sleeved cards using MayDay standards. However, it cannot be confirmed whether premium-sized sleeves will fit; users must measure their sleeved cards and compare them with the dimensions on the .stl files. A set of card-dividers is included to help organize everything, which can be printed onto card or glossy vinyl sticky-backed paper and stuck to card. Four player trays are provided to keep each hero's current class deck and purchased cards and equipment. The Imperial player also has a tray for keeping the Agenda deck, mission deck, Imperial class cards, and purchased cards. Please note that this is a large print job requiring 30-40 hours and weighing a significant amount. See also: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4237679 for storing map tiles. Note: The thicker-looking cards in the photos are PnP files for the RAIV solobot (see BBG). However, the newer version with around 300 cards may not fit due to its larger size. UPDATE: 21/12/2020 - Additional cutouts have been added to the small and large card trays to reduce filament usage. UPDATE: 10/01/2021 - The geometry of LargeCardTray1/2 and SmallCardTray1/2 has been tweaked slightly. Two alternative card trays for FFG sleeves (LargeCardTray1_FFG_alt.stl and LargeCardTray2_FFG_alt.stl) have also been added. Due to the large size of FFG sleeves, cards in tray 1 must be rotated by 90 degrees, resulting in a void space that can be filled with foam or printed as a cube (30mm height recommended).
