The designs were made using Moray For Windows (http://www.stmuc.com/moray/medown.html), and a plugin in the provided zipfile allows for direct export to OpenSCAD (instructions included in readme). This impeller housing is compatible with a 35.5mm diameter motor featuring a 4mm shaft and M3 mounting holes, approximately 25.4mm apart. The design was based on a scaled version of the featured impeller available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34563/#comments. The motor used was obtained from an inexpensive 18 V electric drill. Notably, Moray exports primitives rather than meshes, making it ideal for creating complex shapes through CSG methods.
