Impeller for mobile A/C
thingiverse
This is a replacement impeller for a Beko mobile air condition. I used ASA, 100% infill, 0.2mm layer Takes 4 days to print The FreeCAD file is also enclosed, version of FreeCAD is 0.19 beta. Update: After the first test it broke and it is clear, that there are some problems with design, material and print. The material should be even more heat resistant, so I will change the extruder and most likely use PC, seems the extrusion is not enough, the bonding between the layers is not good enough and finally the blades need a base to have a better connection to the base ring and should be thicker. I will report when the new test has finished. Update2: The new design has finished, the blades are thicker now and come witch a better foundation. Unfortunately because of this, the stl file became much bigger and cura slicer gave up, cura hangs. So, I used 3D Simplifier, this programs produces the gcode, but doesn't do the 3D rendering for showing the object, unbelievable. Now I used 2° for creating the mesh and 3D Simplifier is showing the impeller again. New version is V1.4. To have better layer adhesion, I increased the extrusion width to 0.5mm using a 0.4mm nozzle.
