Impact Driver Bit holder - Double bit holder
thingiverse
This model fits on DeWalt impact drive or drills. You can buy a single bit holder from DeWalt, but they sell it for $20 and it's only one piece. Why not make our own? It's worth noting that this is an upgrade. After using it extensively, the plastic wore down, and the bits would slip out. To improve the design, I added two tabs to fit into the bit lock groove. When installing it, I placed a dense foam under the tabs to assist with the spring. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm per layer Infill: 20% Notes: Finally used 1018mm (~$0.15) PLA. Print time: 16 minutes. It was necessary to file the material a tiny bit, but I achieved just the right pressure to hold bits securely.
