iMOVE Motion Controller
thingiverse
If PC-based CNC controls are your thing, then you're spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing hardware. But if you prefer a standalone control system, your options are somewhat limited. That's why the iMOVE motion controller stands out as an all-in-one stand-alone system that levels the playing field. Designed to work seamlessly with the awesome GRBL firmware, the iMOVE incorporates an ATmega328 microcontroller, all GRBL I/O, a configurable analog output, and four digital stepper drives. Check below for updates. More information is available at http://imovecontrols.com/ Update #2: We're upgrading to an ARM microcontroller to take full advantage of the next evolution of GRBL. This will be a huge leap in performance and features - more details released over the coming weeks. Update #1: We're thrilled to announce that the iMOVE controller will be powered by Geckodrive G250 motor controls. Geckodrive is legendary among the CNC community, and their stepper drives are considered the gold standard. Made in the USA, Geckodrive motor controls offer mid-band resonance compensation, high-speed step morphing, and tunable low-speed smoothness. The G250 is a digital stepper drive rated to 3.5A/50V, and suitable for Nema 17-34 stepper motors.
