Immortality at The Louvre, Paris
myminifactory
This is a magnificent bronze sculpture created by neo-classical sculptor Jean Pierre Cortot (1787 - 1843). The work represents Liberty, the embodiment of France, and serves as an interpretation of the iconic statue of Liberty. Initially intended for the dome of the Panthéon, the piece was unfortunately destroyed in 1848. Fortunately, the Louvre Museum possesses a bronze replica cast by Thiébault in 1859. This object is part of "Scan The World," a non-profit initiative launched by MyMiniFactory, which aims to establish a comprehensive digital archive of fully printable three-dimensional sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access at no cost.
