ImmersionRC Vortex 285 Angled Wall Mount
thingiverse
THIS THING IS NOW ON MyMiniFactory AND SHALL BE UPDATED THERE ONLY https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-100254 Been waiting to hang my Vortex 285 and my wife's on the wall for a while now, so I finally got around to designing a mount since I couldn't find one. This one tilts the quad 30 degrees off the wall to make your drone stand out more than just hanging it. Included are two versions: one with my logo and one without (I know how annoying it is for models to have branding, so I left a blank copy if it bothers you as much as it does me). I've angled the model in the STL file so that there are two points of contact with the build plate. Adding supports will increase stability while printing, but isn't necessary if you've tuned yours in. Supports for me were done at 70% to avoid excess material waste. Mounting your print to the wall is easy. I designed it so there's a nice flat spot on the back for double-sided tape. Simply place it where you want then drill into the wall through the pre-made hole in the mount and screw it down.
