This is Version 1 of my custom case design. I launched into this project after a fellow model maker and I both broke our video transmitter antenna connector off the circuit board. This creation provides reinforced support around the connector and antenna, enabling me to position the antenna or endure a crash without exerting pressure where the connector meets the board.You can clearly see the power LED light shining brightly, as well as easy access to the tx channel dip switches. Furthermore, I can plug in and unplug the camera and power connectors to the circuit board without needing to remove the case.I am actively making improvements on this case, which is currently fully operational and capable of housing my transmitter snugly. The combined weight of both printed ABS parts came out to be 11.4g.The construction details highlight an important point: I strongly recommend applying a generous coat of 5min epoxy over the pins connecting the plug to the circuit board, as the solder is currently the sole thing holding these pins in place.
