ImmersionRC 5.8GHz 600mw Tx Case
myminifactory
This is Version 1 of my case design, born from a shared experience with a friend - we both managed to break off our video transmitter antenna connector from the board. Determined to find a solution, I set out on this project with a clear goal: create a protective casing around the exposed connector and antenna. As you can clearly see, the power LED light is easily accessible, allowing for effortless monitoring of your system's status. The tx channel dip switches are conveniently located within easy reach, enabling quick adjustments without compromising the integrity of the board. Moreover, the camera and power connectors are designed to be easily removable, sparing you from having to disassemble the entire case. I have no intention of resting on my laurels - future improvements are already on the horizon. For now, rest assured that this version is fully functional, with the tx fitting snugly inside its designated compartment. Stay tuned for updates as I continue to refine and enhance this design. One crucial note: weighing in at 11.4g, both parts together demonstrate a remarkable balance of form and function. To further reinforce the structural integrity of your setup, I highly recommend applying a 5-minute epoxy over the pins that connect the plug to the board. This added layer of support will provide an extra margin of safety against potential damage.
