I started this project after a friend and I broke our video transmitter antenna connector off of the board, so we both knew exactly what needed fixing. This case design adds essential support around the connector and antenna, enabling you to position the antenna or withstand a crash without putting unnecessary stress on where the connector meets the board. The power LED light is clearly visible, providing easy access to the tx channel dip switches, and you can plug and unplug the camera and power connectors to the board without having to remove the case. I plan to make improvements to this case in the future, but it's currently fully functional with the tx fitting snugly inside. Stay tuned for updates on any changes. The combined weight of both parts printed in ABS was 11.4 grams. To add extra support, I highly recommend applying a thin layer of 5-minute epoxy over the pins that connect the plug to the board – the solder is all that's currently holding those pins in place.
