To ensure proper fitting of 3D printed parts, use the provided keys such as square, round, rotating snap-in pins, static snap-in pins, hinge, and balljoint. Each key has male and female components. Install the keys in zBrush by loading the files into the Brush Presets folder. After installation, select the brush and choose the desired key from the selection menu. To use the keys, first select the subtool to be the male part. On the surface where you want to place the key, drag to draw its shape, which will automatically mask the key but not the subtool. Adjust the mask and split the group to obtain three parts: the original subtool, the male key piece, and the female key piece. For the male key part, dynamesh it and combine it into a single polygroup using CTRL+W. For the female key part, navigate to the polygroup settings and group as dynamesh sub. Finally, merge the chosen piece down into the female key piece to cut out the desired shape. A tutorial will be available soon for more detailed instructions.
