We absolutely love playing this as a family! The only issue we have is that the game is very basic in it's table presence and really needs an overhaul to give this game a true "Big Box" experience. As I looked for other creators on Thingiverse I came across MeepleForge - https://www.thingiverse.com/meepleforge/designs and loved/purchased his version of the Reed Boats for our Imhotep Board Game. Which you can look at here on esty - https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MeepleForge However, I wasn't interested in his other upgraded components for the game. So, I decided to try my first attempt at creating my very own upgraded components for the game. Over the past three months I have created all the upgraded components for both the base game and the expansion - Imhotep - A New Dynasty. The only thing missing is the reed boats which of course are made by MeepleForge and I would encourage you to go to their sight and purchase them as they are a fantastic design and are very easy to print and paint too! Everything else is my own creation and are available for you all print and enjoy! This was a labour of love and I would kindly appreciate your consideration of giving me a tip! Over view of Imhotep: In Imhotep, you become builders in Egypt who want to emulate the first and best-known architect there, namely Imhotep. Over six rounds, you move wooden stones by boat to create five seminal monuments, and on a turn, a player chooses one of four actions: Procure new stones, load stones on a boat, bring a boat to a monument, or play an action card. While this sounds easy, unfortunately the other players are constantly thwarting your building plans by carrying out plans of their own. Again, thank you and enjoy! Please note - This box insert will raise the box lid by 20mm to accommodate all of the upgraded components and the inserts needed to organize all of the models. Also - you will need to print 3 copies of "Imhotep box insert - player boxes 1" and only 1 print of the "Imhotep box insert - player boxes 2" - note that this box is of a different size to accommodate the space needed to complete the second level of the box insert and leave no extra spaces. And, "YES" this box insert accommodates sleeved cards!"
