**New Full Redesign Available for Testing** https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3299370 My goal was to create a printer design that utilizes existing bracket mounting holes without altering stock parts. I knew a significant change was needed to make the printer viable for printing materials beyond PLA, and even PLA would face issues due to the constant active cooling fan. To address this, we had to plug the cooling tube that hit the nozzle. With all this in mind, I explored various cooling system options and settled on this design. A creation for the HCMaker 7 AKA Imagine That 3d Helios - CR-10 direct drive clone. Parts: Two additional fans are required: a 30MM Fan and a 40MM Fan. Optional: Three fan variation includes an aluminum Heat Sink for stepper motor with a hole in the middle. Remove the existing plastic cooling system entirely. Further parts include m3 screws, with a complete detailed list to come after assembly installation. Screws: Two Flat head Metric 10MM screws are used to hold the 30MM fan on, with a smaller profile providing better results. Ten M4-10MM metric screws are used for all other parts. Eight screws will hold the fan in place, four of which secure the Note that holes may need to be drilled for easier threading.
