Image into wood

To mill a grayscale image, begin by capturing a photo and converting it into grayscale using software like Gimp. Invert colors if desired, then write a PGM file with the correct header format (P5 followed by image width and height). Use ImageCarve to generate G-code with specified tool size, stepover, scale, clearance, and z-depth values. Finally, use a ball-end milling cutter to engrave the image on your desired material.
