Use this program to create high-resolution meshes from images quickly and accurately in large resolutions. 1/ Generate a high-res STL file using the given application, 2/ Import the mesh into Meshlab, selecting options 1 through 5 and 7 for the quadratic edge collapse decimation filter, 3/ You will have an excellent and precise mesh, superior to many professional CNC programs available today. You can then import it into 3dsmax using the Quickweld option and run the mesh through the 3dsmax 2016 ProOptimizer modifier set to 2 degrees for coplanar face decimation and divide the mesh by 20%.... The result is a flawless mesh... As a test, step one produced a file of 62MB, step two yielded a result of 15MB, and step four gave me a very nice mesh of 2.5MB.
