iMac Stand to Vesa 100 Adapter
thingiverse
I'm excited about the mount I designed, which allows you to transform an old iMac stand into a standard VESA 100 mount from 2004. This conversion gives you the flexibility to attach your beautiful iMac stand to any VESA 100 (100mm x 100mm) monitor mount, giving your monitor a stylish upgrade using only some screws and this clever 3D printed piece. To install the bracket, you will need: Four M4 .7 pitch, 8mm long screws for the monitor. And four M4 6mm screws with nuts to secure the iMac stand. Next, screw everything together and make sure the spring-loaded side of the iMac stand is tightened, allowing you to adjust the tilt of the monitor. This ensures that the monitor remains securely in place, even if it's subject to downward pressure due to its weight or the added bulk of an extremely thick monitor screen.
