I just swapped a SSD disk into an older iMac A1311 for a customer. He had bought the SSD without knowing these older Imacs use a 3.5" drive, while SSDs are much smaller at 2.5". I tried a few adapters from Thingiverse but they were all junk - wrong size and the drive was stuck on sideways.
