The IM-00, Australia's first mass-produced exo-suit, was designed for frontal and naval combat. Its name, Iron Maiden, reflects its performance limitations due to both armor and durability issues. In 2048, Australia rushed these units into action, prioritizing quantity over quality. The primary goal of the IM wasn't to match enemy firepower but to prolong battles by keeping Australian forces engaged. Despite this, the unit excels in several areas. Weighing lightly, it can run at up to 50 miles per hour. Its backpack-mounted battery provides impressive endurance, lasting two weeks before maintenance is required. The laser pulse rifles attached to its arms allow operators to switch between burst and rapid fire modes, dealing significant damage depending on the operator's skills.
