A mind-bending illusion where a negative face seems to turn positive as it appears to gaze directly at the viewer. However, to maximize the effect, position a light source underneath it, and you'll be fooled into thinking the light is shining down on a positive face. Even more impressively, if you place a standing version against a wall with a light coming from behind, just like in a lithophane effect, you can also experience this astonishing optical illusion. Based on my earlier creation called Melt Face: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:651829 I adapted and fine-tuned the model to optimize its appearance, ensuring that it creates a highly convincing illusion of positive expression. I performed a range of tweaks including cropping, smoothing, and most notably inverting it, to create an incredibly effective and realistic optical effect. Instructions This design should print without any support structures, however, it is always good practice to double-check.
