I've attached one of these creepy cheap USB LED-lamps I bought on eBay or similar places to my printer. I own two P802 models, one metal and one acrylic version, so I made two different types of the kit. The part that holds the lamp: If you have a printer with a Bowden extruder, take the "lampenhalterV2" file. If you have a direct-driven extruder, take the other version. (I only guarantee they'll fit on Zonestar extruders, but maybe other printers will also work.) For the part that holds the switch: If you have a metal frame, take "schalterhalterV2". Otherwise, take the other version. (Note: I use the Z.R.I.B. control board; it may not work with another board.) The switch has dimensions of 12.5mm x 13mm. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 20% Notes: I used a wall thickness of 1mm (this should work fine). Post-Printing: Prepare the electronics: I simply cut off the USB connector of the lamp so I can attach cables. Also, I changed the serial resistor of the diode to use it with 12 volts instead of 5 volts. (Please keep in mind that the resistor will have a higher loss of power; it'll get warm!)
