### Say hello to Printer-Dog aka. Illumination Dog aka. Octodog. ### Meet Printer-Dog, a Wi-Fi controlled LED light designed to display the current status of your Octoprint connected 3D printer or any device you want it to be. The code is open-source. The base and inlays can be printed in various configurations that suit your needs. However, printing the head requires special care. Use 0% infill and skip bottom layers, printing only 1-2 walls and 4-5 top layers. To achieve best results when bridging between the ears, adjust the layer pattern so the first lines connect both ears. In Cura, for instance, modify the surface fill angle sequence to [45,90,135,180]. The optimal layer height may vary. Feel free to share your custom creations. Required Hardware: 1x Wemos D1 Mini (available at https://amzn.to/2Q7CG2y) 1x 7 LED WS2812 (available at https://amzn.to/2CAgkE9) 3 short wires Optional: 3M Adhesive Foam Pad (available at https://amzn.to/2QgHcvG) You can use any WS2812 compatible LED; simply cut one from a spare LED strip if you have it.
