Illuminated Suspension-mounted Fume Extractor for Soldering, Laser Engraving, Painting
thingiverse
Both parts print without support and fit perfectly inside the Ender 3 build envelope. This extractor mounts on a standard microphone suspension desk mount (~$10 from Amazon), uses a standard 120mm fan, standard 4" flexible ducting, 12v 8mm LED light strip, and 6mm toggle switches to separately switch the fan and lamp. The result throws an enormous amount of light, extracts fumes extremely effectively, and is incredibly easy to position over the work or get out of the way if you don't need it. It's real-deal 3D printed shop equipment that's very useful for an open frame laser cutter, soldering, or painting small parts. I recommend selecting a high CFM brushless 120mm fan. It will be loud, but move a tremendous amount of air. If you print two of the top piece, one works great in your window baffle.
