For an eye-catching tree decoration, consider using glowing star ornaments, especially if your light bulbs don't heat up enough to damage the plastic. Craft a translucent red PLA star with a 50% fill for a lovely effect; other transparent colors will work too. Note that this particular ornament won't glow as brightly as in the photo due to camera settings, but it still looks great. The star is designed to fit standard US bulbs with a diameter of .2" and length of .625".
